Terms of Service

Kids Video Box · Last updated: 11 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kids Video Box mobile application (the "App") provided by BloomyCraft Labs Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information.

Summary (the short version)

  • Kids Video Box is a parent-controlled, kid-safe video player. A parent or guardian sets it up and decides which channels a child may watch.
  • You must be an adult (18+) to set up the App and any account; children use it only under adult supervision.
  • Videos play through YouTube's embedded player, and optional features access the YouTube Data API. Your use of that content is also subject to YouTube's Terms of Service.
  • The App is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee third-party content or availability.

1. Who may use the App

The App is intended to be configured and managed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years old. By using the App you represent that you are an adult and that you are responsible for supervising any child who uses it. All account-creation and configuration features are located behind a parental gate in the grown-up area of the App.

2. The service

Kids Video Box lets a parent build a curated, allow-listed library of YouTube channels and offline videos for a child, set screen-time limits, and remotely pause the screen across the family's devices. The App is a tool for organising and presenting content; the video content itself is provided by YouTube and its creators, not by us.

3. Family Account

Some features (such as linking devices for remote controls) require a Family Account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your Family Account at any time from within the App. See our Privacy Policy for how account data is handled.

4. YouTube and Google services

The App uses YouTube API Services to search for channels, retrieve channel and video information, and—if you choose—import the channels you are subscribed to on YouTube. Videos play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedded player.

By using these features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. When you connect a Google account to import your subscriptions, you grant the App read-only access to your YouTube subscription list for the sole purpose of letting you add those channels to a child's allow-list. We do not post to your account, and we do not access your watch history. You can revoke this access at any time in your Google Account permissions.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms, the YouTube Terms of Service, or applicable law;
  • copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the App or its supporting services (including the YouTube Data API);
  • attempt to circumvent the parental gate, security, or usage-limit features;
  • resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or the content accessed through it.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by BloomyCraft Labs Ltd and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your family's personal, non-commercial use. All video content remains the property of its respective owners and of YouTube; these Terms grant you no rights to that content beyond what YouTube's own terms allow.

7. Third-party content and links

The App surfaces content and links from third parties, primarily YouTube. We do not create, own, or endorse that content and are not responsible for it. While the App is designed to help a parent curate what a child sees, you are responsible for reviewing and approving the channels you add, and for supervising your child's use.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular channel, video, or third-party service will remain available. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BloomyCraft Labs Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim (or, if the App was free, a nominal amount). This section does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete it from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or its cloud features if you materially breach these Terms or misuse the service. On termination, the licence granted in Section 6 ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 6, 8, 9, and 12) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
